The TopTenn Tennis Academy has been conducting lessons and coaching teams at Scotch College for almost 15 years. The teams have been performing consistently well winning many APS premierships across all year levels. The elusive one remains a First VIII premiership. Our home grown talent has worked extremely hard over the past few years only to narrowly miss going all the way.

Prestige + Training Squad
Toptenn runs a Friday morning Prestige + Training Squad with USPTA High Performance coach Stephen Kangwa. This squad is not a part of school team training, however runs throughout the year from Term 1 to Term 4. The Prestige + Squad is the ace up the sleeve of many Senior Scotch boys looking to improve or consolidate their team position. It aims to accelerate development in matchplay and turn B's into A's.
Junior School
Professional Coaching.
Please see Sally or Leslie in the Junior School office for all of the information on the multitude of programmes and opportunities for boys to receive coaching before and after school, or at our popular lunchtime sessions.

Preppies and Year Ones look out for our exciting "Aussie Mozzie" tennis.

Squads
Toptenn conducts a series of development squads for all levels throughout the school. These squads are programmed to accelerate each boy's progress and enable the best players from each level to compete and train with the best players from other year levels.
Recently Hendrik Gutwirth, an exercise physiologist, has been assessing the fitness levels and designing customised summer fitness programmes for each player in the Firsts and Senior Development Squad.

Father Son Championship
Although we put the Annual Toptenn father/son champoinship on hold in 2005 we plan to re-stablish it on the tennis calendar for 2006. John and Paul Meadows form a pretty awesome combination and are the current title holders.
